My name is Matt Stone.

I am a professional sports photographer and videographer who specialises in sports that involve Swim, Bike and Run.

I live in the UK, and I  like to travel and work with brands or events within my niche.

The main cameras I use are my Sony A7RV for photography and my Sony FX3 for video work.

I have recently swapped my Nikon photography kit to the Sony range so I could use my Sony lens collection across my photo and video bodies, making for a more efficient workflow.

I have a range of lenses, with my go-to being the Sony G master 70-200mm f/2.8 for photography and the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 for videography.

I  recently picked up the Sony G master 16-35mm f/2.8 so now, with all three of these lenses, I am able to efficiently cover all bases at a high-quality level. These lenses are invaluable assets to my workflow and output!

For lighting, I have two Godox V1 flash units as I love the flexibility and power output from having these lights on and off camera.

The video lighting I use is an Amaran 200x as my key light. To have the ability to alter the temperature and power from the remote app is a great asset.

The Lowepro ProTactic BP 350 aw and Lowepro ProTactic BP 450 aw bags are both in my kit. The two size options give me greater flexibility depending on my shoot for the day.

My bags are an important component of my work as I often follow quite a run-and-gun setup with my cameras due to the sports niche I cover.

These bags are safe and quick to access, plus they look really good as well!

I use a Manfrotto video tripod alongside my Dji RS3 Pro Gimbal for video work.

The DJI Air 2s is my drone of choice as it’s easy to use and has a professional output for both photos and videos.

I often edit on the go due to the nature of my work using my 2021 MacBook Pro M1 Max 14″. It’s portable, extremely reliable and is a good size for fitting in my camera bag. Editing large files on the go within Premier Pro and Lightroom requires a fast laptop.

Apart from having large amounts of iced coffee always tucked away in my camera bag, the rest of my space is usually full of miscellaneous equipment such as spare batteries, cards and filters of all kinds.

I hope you have enjoyed hearing about my kit, and please check out my Instagram to see what I am getting up to.
